KGuard® offers a range of options for training on our products and components to suit our customer’s requirements and budget.
Product Familiarisation Session
Duration : 2 hours
This does not constitute competency training and is not certified. This would usually be used as a refresher for operatives who are already deemed competent working with edge protection systems but who might not have used KGUARD specifically or are not familiar with all of our product range.
KGuard® Full Installer system training
Duration : 5 hours
A comprehensive, wide ranging session that comprises of both theory and practical elements.
- Full Installer system training including Working at Height
- System handover, inspection and record keeping.
- System Inspection and ongoing site management.
- Theory training covering compliance with BS EN 13374 and other relevant legislation.
- Independent site assessment and advice
When a delegate successfully passes the course, certification will be issued.
Edge Protection Federation (EPF) training
Duration : 5 hours
Our approved training partner are currently the only independent Edge Protection Federation training provider and as such they are able to provide EPF training as a stand-alone course or combine it along with system specific manufacturers training.
Both courses can be completed on the same day and are as follows:
- Edge Protection Federation Training for Operatives
- Edge Protection Federation Training for Managers
(Note : Both of the above can be combined with System Specific Manufacturers Training)
Refresher training
Duration : 4 hours
Ideal course for operatives who have previously passed the KGuard® Full Installer system training course. This is a half day session.

How many delegates are permitted in one session?
A maximum of 10 delegates are permitted per session.
Which areas do you deliver the training?
Our trainers are pretty flexible and will deliver training almost anywhere!
What equipment / space is required to deliver training?
We require a training room with sufficient space for attendees, a TV, KGUARD® equipment on site as well as your preferred anchoring or drilling equipment.
